The AVS 5K is an amazing opportunity to kick-off the Avs season and it's packed full of benefits! Join the Avs Ice Patrol, Bernie, and Avalanche Alumni by walking, running, or you can even push a stroller, or pull a wagon!
The route may be the most scenic one you've ever done as we wind through the beautiful rocky ridges and roads surrounding the Red Rocks Amphitheatre! (not to mention a quick dash through the Ice Resurfacer Foam Machine). The course is made up of paved roadways, with 80% downhill, making this a fantastic family event!
[*kids 6 & under free with registered guardian, but do not receive an Avalanche ticket, shirt or bib number. If they want a ticket, shirt, and bib number, you must register them.
5K Run/Walk Start Time: 10:00am
*You must arrive to park by 9:30am
ADULT TICKET: $55 (no added tax or fees!)
YOUTH TICKET (age 14 & under): $25

Post-Event Refreshments, Snacks and Beer at the After-party!
1 Upper level ticket to your choice of one of the following Avalanche games:

Nov 13 - San Jose
Kids age 6 & under run free!**
**Kids run free but do not receive an Avalanche ticket, shirt, bib number, or finishers medal. They must be a 'registered' participant to receive these items.

The AVS 5K is a benefit for Dawg Nation Hockey Foundation!
$5.00 from each registration goes towards the fundraising efforts of Dawg Nation.
If you haven't heard of this organization, they have helped out numerous individuals and families in need, many of them within the hockey community. They've gifted over $1.6 Million dollars over the past 9 years!

Please note: To assure yourself that you receive the t-shirt size requested, you must register by October 25. (the date we order shirts) We do order a limited amount of extra shirts, based on our expected forecast, but can not guarantee your shirt size if you register late. If you register after October 25, you will receive shirt sizes per availability at check-in, on a first-come/first-serve basis, until that size is gone. If your size is gone, you will be able to select from the sizes available until they are gone.
